Overnight volunteer needed on Monday, November 19 for Family Promise Network in Johnson City.

This Saturday night, November 17, beginning at 5:30PM is our annual Service Auction!

Can’t attend? No problem! We have several experienced Proxy bidders who will bid on your behalf. Just make a list of the items you would like to bid on and the maximum that you are willing to pay and send that list to auction@hvuuc.org.

We are offering Our Whole Lives classes for 4th-6th grade youth and their guardians. For the first time, we will have a classroom for the parents and guardians of youth in OWL to have the opportunity to take the same curriculum in a separate space. Our hope is that this will encourage conversations and open communication to continue to happen at home

We’ve now had a board (and card) game library in the REZ for a whole year! Thanks entirely to donations we’ve built up a nice collection of free-to-borrow games for adults and kids of many different stripes. We’ve also had some games get borrowed with no record of who has them. Can you help?

Community Thanksgiving Potluck Meal and all around fun day!
On Thanksgiving Day - Meal starts at 1PM. 
At church main building and grounds. 
Outdoor games and activities during the day are encouraged, weather permitting. Bocce, Cornhole, Croquet... let's enjoy time together!

Join us this Sunday, November 11 for half an hour after potluck to find out what OWL Outreach is, why we're doing it, and how you might be able to help.

Don’t forget to turn your clocks back Saturday night!

We are collecting items for Hope and Healing Bags throughout the month of November.  The Branch House Family Center provides these comfort items to sexual assault victims.

Our next turn to serve at the Kingsport Kitchen of Hope will be Monday November 5th.

There will be an Ingathering of new members on November 18, 2018. If you have been to the Path to Membership class, we invite you to join our church at this time.

Monthly women's group will be held at Denee M.’s this Friday, November 2 at 6:00PM. 

Please join us on Saturday, November 3 at 1PM to celebrate the life of our beloved member, Louise Serviente.
