Making Music

Music is a vital part of church life and worship at HVUUC. We are blessed with many accomplished and willing congregants who share their talents as well as a choir that harmonizes with the congregation and adds atmosphere with special music throughout the year.

HVUUC youth are involved in music, too, both through the youth choir that performs several times a year and through individual and duet or ensemble performances with other youth and adults.

The music program is managed cooperatively by the music committee and our music program director. Their shared responsibilities include scheduling, choosing, and preparing hymns and special music.

If you would like to be involved in the choir, please email music@hvuuc.org.

If your youth would like to be involved in youth choir (usually practices during the sermon), please email youthchoir@hvuuc.org.

If you would like to share your musical talents in solo or ensemble performances but can’t commit to the choir, please email musicdirector@hvuuc.org.
