Spring is just around the corner, and the weeds in our church garden are here ahead of it!

The Board of Trustees normally holds its monthly meeting on the third Wednesday of the month at 7PM in the Religious Education building.  This month’s meeting will be held Wednesday Feb 21, 2018, and the agenda is shown below. As always, friends and members are welcome to attend.

It is that time of year again when we raise money for the upcoming budget year. 

Calling all knitters, quilters, crocheters, embroiderers, sewists, and fiber lovers of all kinds: Come hang out with other fun fiber folks this Friday.

Add your ideas to those shared at the re-covenanting listening circles by jotting your answers to the listed questions.

A variety of educational and entertaining events are planned as part of Black History Month at ETSU. 

One shopper, two or three cooks and two people to stay overnight are needed to support homeless families in the Family Promise program in Kingsport.

A foreign film series was sold at the auction.  The second film of the series will be shown Friday, February 9th at the church

Ladies night is this Friday, February 2nd.

Kitchen of Hope on Monday, February 5th is looking for volunteers to cook (1:30-3:30), serve (3-5), or clean up (4:45-6). Contact Kim at kitchenofhope@hvuuc.org

Join us after the service this Sunday, January 28th for a Soup Luncheon, White Supremacy Teach In and a kids event decorating cloth shopping bags.

The date of the Listending Circle at the Kashdan's has been changed to Thursday, February 8th.
