11:00AM Worship Service: “Southern Unitarian Universalist Leadership Experience”
In October two members of HVUUC went to Wirtz, VA to participate in this week long leadership training. They will share what they learned from the Unitarian Universalist Association about how to get the most you can from the church experience, how to be mindful when your church isn't living up to it's ideals and what you can do about it, and you can hear all this without having to put in the time and travel!
11:15AM Children’s Choir Rehearsal - The Children’s Choir will perform during the Festival of Lights on December 15th. Rehearsals are set for November 17, December 1, & 8. Those interested will be dismissed after the children’s story during service. Questions, contact Kate at choir@hvuuc.org

6-8PM Transgender Day of Remembrance - Tri-Cities Trans will be facilitating an observance of the Transgender Day of Remembrance to remember all of the trans people who have been murdered in 2019. Please join us as we mourn the fallen and celebrate their lives.

6PM Complicated Game Night - We gather to play a range of modern board and card games for fun and a little friendly competition (or cooperation!). Newcomers are welcome at all events, regardless of game-playing experience. Every game is taught prior to playing. We generally have two game nights a month: Casual Game Night on the 2nd Saturday, and Complicated Game Night on the 4th Saturday. Casual Game Night is all-ages and family-friendly, and usually features simpler games. Complicated Game Night is adults-only and usually features more complex games. gamegroup@hvuuc.org
