11:00AM Worship Service: Just Breathe, Mommy, Rev. Jeff Briere

A peace and temperance movement was behind the first celebrations of Mother's Day in the United States. Have we lost that connection? Special choral music from the children and the choir.

7PM - Transposition Showing - Transposition, the rock opera written by Wendy Hearl and performed by Chameleon Red, is the story of a young transgender musician from Appalachia and her journey to find herself. The opera will be presented as a video combining the musical soundtrack with illustrations that depict the action in cartoon form—kind of like a graphic novel set to music.

Tuesday, May 14

5:15PM Yoga with Tish - If you would like to try Yoga to help improve your core strength, balance, and ability to relax, please join a small group that meets in the Meditation Room in the RE building on Tuesday evenings from 5:15 to 6:30pm.

7PM Unitarian Universalism 101 - As her internship is coming to a close, Tiffany invites us to explore with her what it means to be in community as Unitarian Universalists.  This class will be held in the Ralph Waldo Emerson room in the RE Building on Tuesday 4/30, 5/7 and 5/14 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. 10:30AM Heart to Heart Small Group Ministry - A short term covenant group based on the book by the same title, written by UUs, Christine Robinson and Alicia Hawkins. This group will meet for five consecutive weeks, starting Wednesday, May 15  and continue through June 12 at 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. The group will address selected sessions from heart to heart including Listening, Gratitude, Friendship, Doubt, Endings. Purchase of the book is optional. Facilitator – Wanda E. 9AM Fiber Fellowship - If you play with fiber, join us in the Fred Ball Fellowship Hall on 1st and 3rd Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon! Do you quilt? Embroider? Crochet? Knit? Felt? Whatever your passion we want to share it with you. Bring your tools and a project if you'd like or contribute your time to a service project at the gathering.
