11:00AM Worship Service: Expressions of Christianity in Africa with Particular Attention to Indigenous Voices, Dr. Samuel Elolia
Dr. Samuel Elolia is professor of Christian Doctrine and World Christianity at the Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan College. He is also associated with the Kao L'Amani College in his native Kenya and has traveled there every year for the past 10 years with fellow faculty to offer classes.
5th Sunday Collection - Each month that has a 5th Sunday we take up a separate collection for a cause or organization the the Social Justice Committee picks. This month we are taking up the collection for TriPrideTN.
TriPrideTN is a nonprofit organization formed to build a stronger and more inclusive community across Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia. TriPrideTN celebrates the LGBTQ community and welcomes allies, supportive nonprofit organizations, faith congregations and local businesses.
