We are all thoroughly enjoying having Coffee Hour after church! Coffee Hour exists because of volunteers and a coordinator. We need someone who would take on the coordinator role and volunteers for each Sunday to make sure Coffee Hour happens. Mentoring will be provided so all volunteers and coordinator.
Please email Michele Markstrom-Frisch at membership@hvuuc.org to be part of a wonderfully interactive social opportunity.
Our April 15th Families Listening Circle has been cancelled. We still want to hear from you! Please register for the April 23rd Circle or contact Sarah at DRE@hvuuc.org to chat about your hopes and dreams for the program.
Let's Chat is an ongoing Covenant group also known as Small Group Ministry.
We discuss a variety of topics. OOPs moments, Integrity and Humor are our next three topics. The group can have up to 4 more participants, please come. Our present group has some very new members and old timers.
Please come join us. We meet at the church for 2 hours on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 Please contact Greg Kramer at letschat@hvuuc.org if interested, there are limited spaces.
Music is the universal language that crosses cultural boundaries; which goes to show that music would be a key element in political, environmental, and social justice events. When language, custom, or opinion has built a wall between us, a few notes with an intention behind them can breach even the strongest defenses. This Musical Activism service will touch on a few key songs that have changed us as people and the world as a result.
If you usually donate to WETS-FM or plan on donating this year, consider allowing your donation to help the church as well. We can continue to be an underwriter for programming which allows us to get our message out in the community. WETS gets 100% of the money, you still get the tax benefits, and our church gets our name out in the community. You can help two great organizations!
GREAT NEWS. We will be in Risk Level 1 this week for Sunday Service! For more details on on Level 1 click here.

Thank you to the current Board of Trustees for working so diligently these past two years to help our church community navigate a global pandemic.
This Friday night, April 1st, 6:30, is Ladies night at Mary Williamson’s.
Ladies night has been a long time coming. Let’s hope this is the first of many in 2022.
Mary will be making a big pot of pumpkin soup. As always, please bring a snack or drink to share. Parking is rough. People are encouraged to carpool. Limited parking is available at the house, additional parking on the culled sac.
We will have fires on the porches for those of you who wish to socialize outside.
If you are unable to take a short and steep hike, please park at the house. Otherwise, bring a flashlight, park at the top of the driveway, and come on down. Please respond to womensgroup@hvuuc.org for further information.
Do you have something to say? Maybe it's time to say it during a Sunday morning service.
The idea of public speaking can be intimidating, but it can also be quite a feeling of accomplishment to communicate your ideas in a way that can get your point across, sharing it with your religious community.
Rev. Tiffany will be hosting a "Shared Pulpit Seminar" to give you the tips and tools you need to put together a 15 minute message. Attending this seminar does NOT obligate you to do any speaking, but it might be a great opportunity to think about the possibilities. We can only accommodate 12 people in this seminar so sign up soon.
Saturday May 14 from noon until 4pm, in-person.
Email minister@hvuuc.org to sign up.
