Tri-cities Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America will host a Remembrance Service today, December 13th, 7PM at Munsey United Methodist Church in Johnson City.

Our long-term member, Virgil Stephens died on Saturday December 8 following an injury from a recent fall. A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, December 15 at church. Visitation and refreshments from 1:00PM-3:00PM and the service will follow at 3:00pm.

Church will be closed today Sunday, December 9th due to the winter weather.

The security system for the main building at church has been fixed. You’ll need to put the code in and disarm the system if it’s armed.

A large tree has been cut down uphill from the playground at church. Many large limbs and the cut up trunk of the tree are laying about and will be removed by church members. Until they are removed, please don’t allow your children on the playground.

The Families Group is collecting books to help re-stock Panama City, FL schools after Hurricane Michael now through December 24th.

Due to weather, instead of meeting at the Kingsport Christmas Parade, the Families Group will be meeting at the church from 4pm-6pm on Saturday for hot cocoa, games and crafts.

Calling all 2nd-4th graders! During RE this Sunday, December 2 we will be baking holiday cookies for the church coffee hour.

Our next turn to serve at the Kingsport Kitchen of Hope will be Monday, December 3rd.
