In search of: Nursery Staffing Coordinator
Responsibilities: · Conduct search for and hire nursery staff in cooperation with Personnel Committee · Create regular childcare schedule · Find substitutes when necessary. · Schedule childcare for special events as requested. · Maintain communication between childcare staff, church administrator, DRE, and facilities. · Address health and safety issues with the appropriate folks. · Let staff know the RE schedule.
Cindi Huss has been doing this job for about 4 years and it’s generally fairly simple and easy, though it does require staying on top of scheduling. Cindi is happy to help the next volunteer supervisor get up to speed over the next few months and share what she's learned that makes life easier.
