SAFE HERE Task Force Report to the Board:

Topics Addressed:
● Define domestic abuse in its many forms.
● Offer guidance on responding to allegations of domestic abuse in its many forms.
● Suggest ongoing education opportunities to make the entire congregation more aware of and responsive to trauma and its effects on every aspect of a person's life.
● Provide information on ways to appropriately support survivors in taking back their autonomy.
● Provide information on ways to appropriately support abusers in taking accountability for their action.
