Transposition, the rock opera written by Wendy Hearl and performed by Chameleon Red, is the story of a young Appalachian trans musician's struggle with questions of identity, spirituality, and success. The opera will be presented as a video combining the musical soundtrack with illustrations that depict the action in cartoon form--kind of like a graphic novel set to music.

A conversation about LGBTQ+ representation in media will follow.

Parental guidance is suggested for very mild language, depictions of bullying, and brief, mostly offscreen, gun violence.  The running time is about two hours.
