Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans

First Harvest Celebration & Discussion

July 31st: 1pm-4pm

A gathering of people who love the Earth and celebrate its cycles, whether they be Pagan, Unitarian Universalist, both, or just curious.

As we observe the first harvest let's see who has come to gather with us. A simple, low magick ritual will give us the opportunity to contemplate our harvests, both literal and metaphorical. Afterwards we will engage in a conversation and brainstorm about the future of CUUPS at Holston Valley UU.

We will be subject to HVUUC's Covid policies. This currently means that masks must be worn indoors, but that outdoors vaccinated people may be unmasked. Ritual will be held outdoors on our covered porch. Discussion will be held indoors in the fellowship hall.

What can you bring?

  • An open heart and open mind

  • Dress comfortably or in your favorite ritual wear (no skyclad please)

  • If you have grown any food, herbs or plants this season that you wish to place on the altar, they would be welcome (come a little early for this please)
