Congregational Meeting December 8th

The time to vote on the search committee to find a new called minister is almost here! However, the current Church bylaws do not align with current Unitarian Universalist Association recommendations to form this committee. In order to correct this, a special meeting is being called, on December 8th, to change the church bylaws regarding this single provision. A 35% quorum of church members is required to hold the meeting, and a simple majority vote of members in attendance will be binding. Your attendance and vote is very important!

Voting on the search committee nominees will take place directly after the bylaws change has been approved on December 8th. The votes will be tallied by the Board of Trustees (closed session) and the search committee members will be announced the following week on December 15th. Please review the nominee biographies in the Fred Ball Room over the next few weeks. Your participation in the democratic process of the Church is needed, and greatly appreciated!
