A meeting to discuss revitalizing our CUUPS chapter.

To keep you better informed, we are making a change in the emails that go out from the church. Currently we email out only Congregation News items. Starting this week you will get an email for Congregation News, as you have been, and if a new Featured Event is added, you will get an email for that as well.

We are sad to announce that church member Barbara Bemrich has passed away. A memorial service will be held at Hamlett Dobson Funeral Home in Kingsport at 11AM this Saturday, August 10.

The next Path to Membership class will be held after the service on Sunday, September 8, from 12.30PM – 2:00PM. RSVP to office@hvuuc.org

The Social Justice Committee is seeking a coordinator for the 2019 TriPride Parade in Kingsport on September 7th.

A celebration of Dave Calvert's life will be held on Saturday afternoon at 4PM, the 27th of July at Holston Valley Unitarian Universalist Church. A reception with finger foods will follow the service.

The Families Group is going to the splash pad at Steele Creek on Saturday, July 27.

If you enjoy gardening, help us maintain the church’s flower gardens.

The Mountain Summit focus group is being hosted at The Mountain Retreat & Learning Center September 6-8, 2019. Two representatives from each church are being requested. The ideal candidates will have previous experience with programs at The Mountain.

This month we are meeting in the Meditation Hall, 2nd floor of the Religious Education building on Wednesday, July 17 at 7PM.
