Happy Fall, you gorgeous souls! 🍂
The Autumn Equinox invites us into a beautiful moment of transition—a season when light and dark meet in balance before the days begin their slow turn toward winter.
And maybe there’s an invitation there for us, too.
Balance doesn't always mean giving everything equal time or energy. Sometimes it means noticing what needs a little more of us...and what we might be ready to set down. Sometimes it means movement and rest, giving and receiving, gathering together and making room for quiet.
As the leaves begin to change and the world around us settles into a new season, I hope we can notice the beauty in that change—and give ourselves permission to change right along with it.
May this season bring you moments of balance, beauty, and plenty of reasons to wonder. 🍁✨

A QR code is also available directly on the nursery sign-in sheet to make registration quick and easy, and can be found on flyers throughout both the church and REZ buildings.
Registration is an important part of helping us care for our kiddos safely and meaningfully. It lets us know who to contact in an emergency, important medical or accessibility needs, and other information that helps us create a safe, welcoming, and fun experience for each child.
It also helps us keep participation records and family communications up to date.

Trunk or Treat is coming to HVUUC! 🎃🚗✨
Start dreaming up those costumes—and those decorated trunks!
It’s time to sign up! Anyone who would like to set up a vehicle automatically gets entered in our Trunk Decorating Contest, complete with prizes and plenty of Halloween fun.

📦 Small Boxes Needed!
Our K–5 Mindfulness Passport explorers have a project coming up, and we need your small boxes!
We're looking for small flip-top boxes such as dryer sheet boxes, small gift boxes, or other similarly sized sturdy boxes.
Donations can be left at Jess's office door or in the REZ lobby with a note.

Background checks are required for those working with children and youth and are fully provided by the church.
Our programs don't happen because of one person—they happen because a whole community chooses to show up, share their gifts, and help create something meaningful together. 💜
