Hello, you gorgeous souls!
As many of you know, Wonder Worship launches on August 9, and I couldn't be more excited! Before we open our doors, I'd love to gather a team of creative minds to help shape the pieces of this new worship experience.
At its heart, Wonder Worship is about providing children with a worship experience designed around the many ways they naturally engage with the world. Through movement, creativity, curiosity, reflection, storytelling, music, and even quiet moments of wonder, we hope to create a space where every child has opportunities to connect with themselves, one another, and our UU values in ways that feel authentic and engaging.
I'm inviting anyone who is interested to join the Wonder Worship Task Force!
This will be a short-term, collaborative team focused on:
π Exploring the overall structure of Wonder Worship
π Brainstorming ideas and possibilities
π Helping think through how everything comes together in practice
π Reflecting on our first few weeks after launch and recommending any helpful revisions
The Task Force will conclude its work on August 30, after we've had several Wonder Worship services to learn from and celebrate together.
After that, I'd love to invite anyone who wishes to continue supporting Wonder Worship to become part of a newly forming Wonder Worship Committee (WWC) within the Religious Exploration Committee (REC). This committee would be present on the REC Zoom call (1st Sunday of the month at 5pm), report to the REC Chair -Brooklynn Wilkerson- and help steward the ongoing planning, maintenance, and future expansion of Wonder Worship as it continues to grow.
If you'd like to be part of this exciting beginning, please complete the When2Meet availability form below for our first Task Force meeting:

Please submit your availability within the next five days, by 9am July 14th. I'll review everyone's responses and announce our first meeting date in the July 14 RE Update.
Whether you have years of worship planning experience or simply love creating welcoming and engaging spaces for our younger generations, your perspective is valued. Wonder Worship is something we're building together, and I'd love for you to be part of this chapter.
Thank you all for the enthusiasm, encouragement, and creativity you've already shared. I can't wait to see what we create together!
