Religious Education Update β€” May 31

✨ The Happenings:

🌈 Wonder Worship was filled with JOY!

What a beautiful Wonder Worship experience we shared this past Sunday! This child-centered

worship experience mirrored many elements of our regular Sunday service β€” complete with

special music, a Wonder Worship chalice lovingly lit and extinguished by Peyton, a benediction,

engaging wonder questions, interactive sermon moments, and so many deep insights only the

honest hearts of children can offer.

And of course… there was LOTS of dancing! πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί

Including an energetic conga line inspired by our drum circle service conga line!

The children were deeply engaged, answered with incredible authenticity, and were celebrated

fully as themselves as we explored the theme of Joy together. By the end, they were already

sharing new topics they hope to wonder about in future worship experiences!

Much gratitude to our amazing volunteers, Kita and Traci, whose encouragement helped inspire

even more participation, curiosity, and wonder throughout the morning. πŸ€—

πŸŽ‰ All-Ages End of Sessions Celebration β€” This Saturday!

Join us May 31 from 9:30am–10:45am as we celebrate a beautiful year of Religious Education

together! All ages are welcome as we gather in community, connection, and joy before summer

begins.

🀝 Interested in helping shape RE?

The Religious Education Collaborative (REC) meets the first Sunday of each month at 5pm via

Zoom. We would love additional voices, ideas, and helping hands as we continue growing

together!

🧸 Fidget Station Reminder

Our RE spaces include fidget tools to support focus, regulation, and comfort for all ages. We

kindly ask that any borrowed fidgets be returned to the station after use so they remain available

for everyone who may need them.

🌿 Quiet Room Reminder

Our quiet room is intended as a sensory-friendly calming space for individuals who may need

support with regulation, decompression, or reduced stimulation during programming and

services. We lovingly ask that this space be reserved for those it is intended to support. Thank

you for helping us maintain a welcoming and accessible environment for all.
