Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense Advocacy Day

Tennessee's Statewide Advocacy Day is Wednesday, March 6, 2019 in Nashville and we need you now more than ever.

The TN General Assembly is a critical battlefield in our fight for common-sense laws that can save lives in Tennessee.  Moms Demand Action invites EVERYONE to join us for a day of meetings with our elected representatives, along with volunteers and community partners from across Tennessee. We are arranging transportation, including  buses from Knoxville, Memphis, and Chattanooga and are helping with carpools from other areas.  We will provide training and put attendees on a team with other supporters from their districts. Light snacks will be provided throughout the day.

RSVPs are essential in order for attendees to be connected to their elected officials.  Please RSVP for Advocacy Day at http://bit.ly/TNAdvocacy2019. Everyone who signs up for Advocacy Day, using the RSVP link, will receive a phone call from a Moms member who will confirm attendance and answer any questions, including arrangements for transportation.

Brandi H. will be traveling to Nashville for Advocacy Day. If you are interested or want more info, contact her at brandyh@hvuuc.org . For those who can't attend, she can hand deliver a letter about gun violence prevention to your representatives in Nashville if you would like.

Thanks so much for your support in working to end gun violence and save lives.
