Immigrant Families Together is a nationwide grassroots organization aimed at helping to reunite immigrant parents with their children. Often parents are detained in a different state from their children. Immigrant Families Together posts bail, provides necessities, helps obtain legal aid, and provides transportation in order to reunite parents with their children. Since they are at work all over the nation, they need volunteers all over. They currently seek drivers who would like to be called upon to locally transport person(s) on their way to be reunited with their children should the need arise. If you'd like to help in this way, please contact socialjustice@hvuuc.org for more information.
