Worship services are at 11:00 a.m. Our minister is in the pulpit three Sundays a month, and other Sundays guest speakers or members of the congregation lead the service, yielding diversity in the worship services.
In preparation for the darkest time of the year and the Festivals of Light that celebrate the return of the sun, we'll look at the benefit of darkness, physically and spiritually.
This don't-miss event is a beloved congregational tradition that celebrates the symbol of light as hope in religions around the world. It is the most festive celebration of our church year and features special music and the active participation of our youth.
Religious liberalism involves a willingness to affirm faith without certainty. This is not the same thing as faith without conviction. Religious liberals tend to hold faith claims with a certain tentativeness, which reflects a commitment to open-ended inquiry and the realization that truth is not given once and for all time.
The root of "forgive" also provides us with the words, "duty" and "gift." How do you suppose these three words are tied together?
Join us for our Christmas Eve service! We will have several church members sharing their Christmas stories and, of course, we'll be singing plenty of Christmas carols.
