While outlining some profound answers written by James Luther Adams, the sermon will challenge us to do our own reflection and search for a deeper spiritual path as a church community.

“Its a Good Day”

This is good day for me when I rejoin my congregation after a long summer. This service will be a joyous reunion and a recapping of some of the highlights of the summer and we will celebrate that every day that we have is a good day.

In preparation for the town hall meeting on justice after the service Jacqueline will review some of the thoughts she has, some of the possibilities we may want to consider and some larger issues. This will be a start to discerning our congregational justice work for the year.

For our annual water ceremony you are invited to bring a small container of water to add to the waters of others of the church to symbolize the rejoining of the congregation
